Galaxy Class

The state of the art Galaxy class USS Cochrane is built at the Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards orbiting Mars. Unlike many Starfleet vessels, which are designed to be highly specialized for very precise missions, ships of the Galaxy class are larger, multimission vechicles capable of performing a much broder range of tasks.

Although this starship is mainly an engineering and science vessel, it is equiped for a wide range of tasks including exploration and war.
